The client wanted to leverage Clearspace as an internal collaboration platform, providing a common area for storing project assets, critiquing one another's work, and sharing best practices. In addition, they planned to extend the site in a subsequent phase to facilitate collaboration with partners, clients, and vendors. They needed some assistance identifying an effective rollout strategy, given their complex permissioning requirements.
I conducted a two-day workshop with numerous client team members, representing twelve organizations within the company. Through a series of interviews and group activities, we identified their objectives, potential obstacles to adoption, project risks, and success criteria. Using the information I gathered during my time onsite, I compiled a community plan document that outlined six steps to a successful community rollout, with specific recommendations for completing each step.
